The Senior Apparel Design Spring Fashion Show in Austin, TX was exhausting but it was a success for our design intern, Chandler. She was awarded Best Overall Collection and Honorable Mention for Most Marketable Collection!

Her collection, The Empowerment Line features 3 original Haitian-inspired looks and 7 unique handcrafted metal jewelry pieces created in Haiti by some amazing metal artists.

The  Empowerment Line is the kickoff for an exciting investment and fundraising opportunity to help expand our women’s programs at Haitian Creations.

Haitian Creations had an amazing time at the Justice Conference 2012 in Portland Oregon. Thanks to the conference organizers, the city of Portland, and especially to all the wonderful people who stopped by our booth!
