My name is Roseline. I was born in Port au Prince, but my family is from Port Salut, a city in the far southwest corner of Haiti. I am 35 years old. I have three children, ages 13, 10, and 5. I am not married. I used to be a saleswoman - selling items in the market. I could not keep that job and take care of my children so I had no work. I wanted to know how to sew so I joined this program. I was not born into a Christian family, but I am a Christian now. I love to work. I am very patient and I like people. I would like to continue going to school and learning more. I had to stop going to school as a child because my parents couldn't pay for it. I would like my children to have a better chance - I want them to be able to be doctors, engineers, or lawyers.
